Why I Love Natalie

Here is the point of this whole endeavor. Below is what makes Natalie so fascinating and perfect to me. I realize that with a title like Will You Marry Me? I'm shooting my aspirations a little high, but I don't really expect that to happen. I just find Natalie Maines to be awesome, and I want to share that with everyone else. I just want her to know if she ever drops by that I appreciate and enjoy everything she does. And if Natalie needs Wide Open Spaces, then in the words of Tracy Byrd, "I've got a love full of Wide Open Spaces..." =P Enjoy the site, folks.

Look at that face! How can you not love Natalie Maines? I could list a million things about her that fascinate me, but for the sake of bandwidth I'll try to keep it down.

Natalie Maines is a very beautiful, talented and lovely young woman. Her voice alone would be enough to grab the attention of anyone. It's very unique to her, and just hearing it makes me smile. She's also very cute. I know that some people out there have a difficult time descerning between beautiful and cute, but trust me--there is a difference. Natalie is beautiful, but along with that she gets a major 10 on the cuteness scale. If you've ever seen her talk--or even in the videos--she is so cute. A particular instance that I can think of is at the 1998 Grammy Awards when she looked to the teleprompter and said, "Oh!" and realized she was supposed to have said something else. She was just so cute!

Also, Natalie is energetic. You can tell that just by throwing Wide Open Spaces into the CD Player. Tune in to "Give it Up or Let Me Go" and you'll hear that enthusiasm coming out, even when she's only riling up the band. If you want an example of what I'm talking about, listen to : emily.wav and tommy.wav. But when the energy needs to come down, and she needs to put her heart into a song, she can do that too, such as in "You Were Mine." As a matter of fact, Natalie always has her heart and soul in the songs she sings, and that to me is a very admirable quality (I too write and sing country music, although not on her caliber, and if it doesn't move you, then don't sing it is my motto).

All in all, Natalie Louise Maines is an inspiration with her music, and a doll with her looks. Whether it's just hearing her voice or seeing her talk, I can't help but smile. There's supermodels out there that could probably drop jaws for miles around, but all of them are missing something that Natalie has. She has the 10 on the cuteness scale. Cute will always win out over beautiful in my book, and I know no one who is as cute as Natalie Maines.
